Receiving Services

The InHealth Community Wellness Clinic of Boscobel may be able to help you with free or discounted dental, hearing and vision care as long as our grant money lasts. Even if you are on Badgercare or Medicare, we can assist you with dental services. You must reside in Grant, Crawford, Vernon or Richland Counties. 


You will need to call the clinic for an appointment and/or a referral. If you meet the 350% poverty guidelines below, please call 608-375-4324. You will need to bring proof of income for all household members with you to your appointment, such as a pay stub, income tax return, or other form.

Our team of experienced volunteer doctors and support staff are committed to providing the best care possible for our patients.

Chris Kammer, DDS
Marquette University School of Dentistry


Dr. Kammer has over four decades of experience practicing dentistry. He is a founding member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Founding Father of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. He is now involved in the most disruptive movement in dentistry ever. It is the medical management of oral disease. This is all done without drills and shots and can be performed almost anywhere

Ken Valyo, MD
Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University


Dr. Valyo is a family medicine specialist with over 35 years of experience. He is a board-certified osteopathic physician focusing on holistic care and is licensed in WI, IA, and IL. 


Dr. Valyo brings the focus back to you. With his compassionate, personal approach and the Direct Primary Care model, Dr. Valyo takes the time to understand your health, your goals, and your story.

Shannon Sullivan, MD

University Wisconsin, Madison


Dr. Sullivan was born and raised in Sparta Wisconsin and obtained degrees in pharmacy, as well as medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and a fellowship in Neonatology was completed at the University of Virginia. She practiced the majority of her career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where she retired after 18 years as a Clinical Associate professor of Pediatrics. 


She currently practices part time as a staff physician at the Ho-Chunk Health Care Center near Black River Falls and has now extended her services to InHealth CWC. She recently fulfilled a dream of living in the heart of the Driftless and now calls Viroqua home! 

Pam Stuckey, Clinic Coordinator


Pam has served the clinic since its inception in 2007! She is the heartbeat of the clinic and serves the patients with compassion and care. She has a passion for quilting and other creative interests and lives in Eastman, WI 

Peggy Updike, Pharmacy Tech

Peggy is a Boscobel native and volunteers in the clinic pharmacy. She also helps her husband with his auction service, which serves the tri-county area of Southwest Wisconsin, including Grant, Richland, and Crawford counties. They are always willing to work the clinic's auction events during various fundraising efforts.

Jeanne Harle, RN


Jeanne provides her nursing expertise to the patients of the clinic. Always ready with a kind smile and caring concern for the comfort of our clients! She was recognized as one of our volunteers of the year at our InHealth CWC Volunteer Recognition - July 23, 2025.

Trish Helgerson, Director of Nursing; RN/BSN

Trish joined InHealth CWC in 2025.  She started her career working as an LPN in pediatrics at St. Francis Hospital (now Mayo Healthcare). After she married, she went back to school to get her associates degree at Southwest Technical College in Fennimore and became a RN, ADN.  

Eventually, she went back to School at Viterbo and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).  Trish has a well rounded background,  having worked in pediatrics, nursing home facilities (including Alzheimer unit), home health, clinic nursing for 18.5 years and public health for 21.5 years.  In retirement (?) she is working at Kickapoo school part time as their school nurse and now, volunteers at the InHealth Community Wellness Free clinic.

Kurt Wilhelm, MD

Southern Illinois University

Dr. Wilhelm has volunteered for the InHealth Community Wellness Clinic since 2009.  He received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University At Carbondale in 1988. He practiced Family Medicine at the Boscobel Clinic and Hospital for 30 years, retiring in January 2022.

Suzanne Brinkman, RN

Suzanne joined InHealth CWC in November, 2025.  She obtained her nursing degree from Clarke College in Dubuque, IA and has been the school nurse for Boscobel Area School District since August, 2001.  

Suzanne enjoys spending time traveling with her family and partakes in outdoor activities such as boating and hiking.
